Terms of Service
Last updated: August 23, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Stack Matrix ("the Service"), operated by Stack Matrix ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Stack Matrix. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are using Stack Matrix on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
2. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@stackmatrix.app if you suspect unauthorised access.
You may not share your account with others, create accounts by automated means, or impersonate any person or entity.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Upload or transmit malware, viruses, or any malicious code
- Use the Service to store or process data on behalf of third parties without their consent
- Abuse the Service in a way that places unreasonable load on our infrastructure
4. Your data and content
You retain ownership of all data you enter into Stack Matrix — including app configurations, workspace content, credentials, and documents. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store and process this data solely to provide the Service to you.
We do not use your workspace data to train AI models or share it with third parties, except as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Credentials storage
Stack Matrix allows you to store credentials such as passwords and API keys. These are encrypted at rest using AES encryption. While we take reasonable security measures, no system is perfectly secure. You are responsible for deciding what credentials to store and for the sensitivity of information you place in the Service.
We strongly recommend using unique, non-critical credentials for any service you add, and not relying on Stack Matrix as your sole record of critical access credentials.
6. Workspace sharing and team features
If you invite others to your workspace, you are responsible for the access you grant. Invitees can view and edit workspace data according to the role you assign them. Remove members promptly when access is no longer needed.
7. Service availability
We aim to keep Stack Matrix available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform scheduled or emergency maintenance that temporarily interrupts access. We are not liable for losses resulting from downtime.
8. Intellectual property
The Stack Matrix name, logo, interface design, and underlying software are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or proprietary technology beyond what is necessary to use the Service.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from the Settings page. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without prior notice.
Upon termination, your workspace data will be permanently deleted. This action is irreversible.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Service or the servers that make it available are free of viruses or other harmful components.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stack Matrix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or €50, whichever is greater.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Spain.
